Wind Power Engineering Services

ECO's small wind power engineering includes general consulting, site planning, & structural design.

SITE CONSULTING

Site Consulting covers all of the 'What if?' and 'Can I?' type questions common at the start of residential and commercial projects considering small and medium sized wind power generators. This consulting is a discussion of sizes, types, site layouts and rough power potential.
The conservative engineering side of ECO will tend to apply proven, cost effective, and commercially available solutions like those shown in these renderings. But the entrepreneur in ECO is open to new approaches like those at the bottom of this webpage.

 CONSULTING

Following your "go/no-go" preliminary wind power decisions, ECO can provide assistance with the selection of system types and styles, and estimates of wind power potential.

If requested, we can fully evaluate competing designs to help clients best determine the best wind energy potential versus investment.

STRUCTURAL DESIGN

Following selection of wind power generator types, ECO will review the manufacturers suggested foundation and structural support systems.

Then we can coordinate the manufacturers structural concept with your site's actual geotechnical information.

Finally we will design and detail construction drawings for the foundation, and review or redesign the supporting structure.

Small wind generators and solar photovoltaics can be combined into a single on-site green energy system to support a home's energy needs or to help charge a future plug in vehicle overnight.
